Suswam swears in new commissioner

GOVERNOR Gabriel Suswam of Benue State, on Tuesday, swore-in a pharmacist, Mr John Enger as Commissioner for Land and Survey, with the charge on him to use his wealth  of experience to add value to the development agenda of the state.

The new commissioner is to replace the former commissioner for Land and Survey, who resigned to pursue political aspiration.

The governor urged the new Commissioner to always liaise with the immediate commissioner of the ministry and the Permanent Secretary for guidance, where he finds difficulties and stressed the need for him to maintain the legacies left behind by the former commissioner.

The Governor who commended Engineer for active participation in the party (PDP) activities over the years, further congratulated him on  the elevation, saying,  ‘even as you are coming late into this administration, more is expected of you’.
