Benue State governor, Gabriel Suswam, has urged party members to brace up and ensure victory of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in the state as the party primaries draw nearer.
The governor said this at the weekend, in Vandeikya Local Government Area of the state during the flag off of free medical treatment mission.
He explained that the party is poised to clinch all the elective seats in the state in 2015.
Speaking on avalanche of governorship aspirants, Suswam assured that the primaries in the state would be conducted without bias, saying that where a clear winner does not emerge, the option A4 method where delegates line up behind their candidates would be adopted.
He, however, appealed to the people of the senatorial district to ensure that he gets nomination for the senatorial seat as a gesture for the appointment of over 40 of their sons in his cabinet, adding that his administration had executed several developmental projects like electricity, roads, schools renovation amongst others in the area.
The governor also intimated plans by his government before exiting office in May 2015, to create 12 development areas for easier administration as well as bring development closer to the rural areas.
