Police nab female robbery suspect, 7 others in Benue

The police in Benue State, yesterday said it arrested a female armed robbery suspect alongside seven others in different locations.
The female suspect, Angel Agir, was arrested alongside Emmanuel Agir, Simon Tsav, Tyoyima Tyowusa and Depuun Mser following a tip-off. They were in possession of dangerous weapons kept in a house at old GRA in Kastina-Ala area of the state at 9am.
The police public relations officer, Benue State command, SP Daniel Ezeala, said the two other suspects, Oliver Achadu and Emmanuel Eje were apprehended at Akpaka village in Okpokwu Local Government Area of the state while they were preparing for a robbery operation.
Items recovered from the separate gangs include two Ak47 rifles, one revolver pistol, one single barrel gun, a locally made pistol, a jack knife and 62 rounds of live ammunition.
Ezeala said the suspects were helping the command with relevant information, adding that the state commissioner of police, Femi Oyeleye has vowed to bring all criminals to face the wrath of the law.
