Solomon said the baby suffered from a congenital anomaly called anencephaly and explained that it wasnt a curse from the gods.
“Anencephaly is the absence of a major portion of the brain, skull, and scalp that occurs during embryonic development. It is a cephalic disorder that results from a neural tube defect that occurs when the head end of the neural tube fails to close, usually between the 23rd and 26th days of conception. Usually its a stillbirth or the baby dies immediately after birth as the condition is not compartable with life.”
He added that though the condition can happen to anybody, it can be prevented by proper antenatal care with taking iron and folic acid drugs very early in pregnancy and avoidance of tobacco smoking especially during the first 3 months of pregnancy.

Finally he encourage people to use the social media wisely to gain knowledge.
