2015: I will defeat Mark in Benue South senatorial election – Ex-NANS President

As the 2015 general elections draw near, a former president of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Comrade Daniel Onjeh yesterday obtained intent expression form to run for the senate seat of the Benue South under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), saying he will unseat senate president, David Mark.

According to report from Leadership, this is sequel to the agitations of the people of Benue Zone C senatorial district to unseat the senate president who has stayed in the senate for 16 years.
Onjeh, disclosed his intention at the weekend when he obtained the intent expression form. He was accompanied by student activists groups and top opposition leaders of the state including a former House of Representatives member, Mr. Nelson Alapa and Benson Abounu among others.

The former president of West African Students Union (WASU) said the reason why he is running the race is to tackle the socio-political and economic challenges facing the people of the area.
