​In BSU: Don’t let unionism distract you – Exam Officer advises students

The Examination Officer, Department of Mass Communication, Benue State University, Makurdi, Dr Daniel Chile has called on students of the department to take their studies seriously. 

He made the call today when representatives of Community of Tiv Students (CTS), Mass Communication unit paid him a courtesy visit in his office disclosing the intention of one their members to enter the presidential race in their forthcoming departmental elections. 

He said, irrespective of the need for unionism, studies were supposed to be of paramount consideration in all student matters. 

“I was also the Secretary of CTS during my school days, but what I will tell you is, don’t let unionism override your main purpose of coming here which is academics”, he said. 

Earlier, the CTS president and departmental presidential aspirant, Comrade Mathias Sende on behalf of the association, felicitated with Dr Chile on his recent appointment as Examination Officer, and prayed for God to guide him in his endeavours.
