​Gov. Ortom donates Prado Jeeps to first class chiefs

The governor of Benue state, Dr. Samuel Ortom today donated vehicles to the six first class chiefs. The donation was made today at the New Banquet Hall of the Benue Peoples House, in Makurdi. 
The Governor stated that in spite of the economic challenges, it was imperative that government had to meet its responsibility of providing mobility for the chiefs to enable them discharge their duties which included enhanced security. 

A Toyota Prado and Hilux pick up was given to each of the chiefs.

In a related development, the meeting also deliberated on the installation of the new first class chiefs and the new Tor Tiv. 

Benue.com.ng gathered that no dates were chosen for cornation, it was agreed that the event would hold towards the end of February or first two weeks of March this year.
